Vipiko's Dreaming Horse

Introduction

All adventurers now receive a free Tier 9 Dream Horse by using Vipiko's Dreaming Horse

• In most cases this Tier 9 Dream horse will be a new adventurers first horse in Black Desert
• If you already have a Tier 9 and are aiming for a Tier 10, you can select 5x Mythical Censer instead
• Horses from Vipiko's Dreaming Horse already have all the skills unlocked at 100% at Level 1
• You can also choose the gender of your horse which can be useful if you want to go for a Tier 10

 

This version of Vipiko's Dreaming Horse is not an event item,it is a permanent addition to the game. 

Obtaining Vipiko's Dreaming Horse

To actually obtain Vipiko's Dreaming Horse all you have to do is be eligible (Once per family) and it'll be waiting for you in your Reward window.

 

To access it you can hit (Y) and you'll see the the reward "Embark with a Dream Horse!" where you can claim it. 

 

 

You'll also be given some basic horse gear and some carrots to feed your horse. If you've already claimed your reward but can't find the item, you can use Ctrl+F. 

 

 

Simply search for Vipiko's Dreaming Horse and if it hasn't been used it will appear in the window and allow you to grab it or transfer it to your inventory. 

 

Picking a Horse

There are three different types of dream horse available from Vipiko's Dreaming Horse and each do different things. 

First of all the horse is what's referred to as Tier 9 or a dream horse, these horses have special skills and are some of the best in the game. 

 

You'll be given the option which horse to pick and which gender or the option of 5 Mythical Censers as previously mentioned. 

 

 

 

Arduanatt (Pegasus)

 

The most popular horse which is usually recommended for a first dream horse is the Arduanatt, usually just called the Pegasus. The pegasus is unique because it can fly and is the only horse to be able to do so. 

It will still change up your mounted gameplay by allowing you to look for high ledges to leap off in order to clear huge amount of land by gliding making it the fastest if you use shortcuts.

 

After flying you won't take damage from falling, so you can also free fall out of the sky to hit the ground quicker. Even though it flies, the Pegasus is still one of the fastest horses when sprinting, too. 

 

 

Doom 

 

The Doom horse is unique among Dream / Tier 9 horses because it's the only one that can have the Two-Seater skill.

If you're going to be playing with friends or just want the option to ride around with someone else, the Doom might already be a good option for you. 

 

The Doom horse also adds a third charge to Instant Accel making it the fastest if you don't use shortcuts. The Doom also deals good damage in PvP and Node wars with its abilities. 

 

 

Dine 

 

The Dine is the only horse that can run across the desert without slowing down. Usually horses are basically useless for anything but storage in the desert.

The Dine keeps access to all horse skills, letting it sprint and boost across the desert, making it the fastest horse for getting around Valencia. 

 

Dine also has a skill that buffs a maximum of 10 friendly targets (+10 DP and +10 Evasion for 30 seconds) and one that heals a maximum of 10 friendly targets (+300 HP and +300 MP/WP/SP per 3 seconds for 30 seconds in total)

 

This makes it has some utility other than just being fast in the desert and although its focused on the desert area, the Dine is still plenty fast around the rest of the world.
